Meatless Monday Global Community Member Guidelines and Expectations
Thank you for being part of the Meatless Monday Global online community. Here, you can learn about best practices and new research, collaborate with others, and share updates about your meat reduction program with your peers in other countries. To ensure the best possible experience for all community members, we have established some basic guidelines and expectations for participation. By participating in this online community, you acknowledge and agree that the opinions posted are those of the individual member, or organization represented by that member, and may not reflect the opinions of Meatless Monday Global or any other member of the group. You also acknowledge that any links to information on sites other than those operated by or on behalf of the Meatless Monday Global are NOT an endorsement or recommendation of those sites. Meatless Monday Global accepts no responsibility for the opinions and information posted by others, and disclaims all warranties with regard to information posted.
By participating on this platform, you also agree that you have read and will follow these guidelines. You further agree to reserve posting comments for topics best suited to the medium. Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with these important guidelines. In order to preserve a climate that encourages both civil and fruitful dialogue, Meatless Monday Global reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for members who violate these guidelines.
● Choose the most appropriate category for your topics. Using the appropriate category makes it easier for other members to find and contribute to your topic. If you are unable to find a related topic, you may start a new one.
● Your posts should relate to the question or discussion to which you are responding. Keep your messages constructive, courteous, and concise. Include only important and relevant links.
● For your safety, security, and privacy, do not include any private and confidential information. No unauthorized publishing of personal information, such as credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, driver's and other license numbers, or any other information that is not publicly accessible.
● Be yourself. Impersonation or passing yourself off as another person will result in expulsion from the community.
● Posting comments is meant to stimulate conversation, not to create contention. Attacks on others is not allowed. No violent or bullying behavior. No threatening, harassing, or bullying of other members. This includes the use of profanity. No promoting hatred toward groups of

○ Be courteous. Please ask participants for permission to republish their words elsewhere (especially if elsewhere would be a publicly viewable setting).
○ When citing discussions, please include a link back to the original discussion or to the homepage.

● The Global Meatless Monday communication platform is not to be used to send chain letters, unsolicited advertising, or any other junk or bulk mail or solicitations for your own benefit or for the benefit of third-party organizations, businesses, products, or services. Sending this type of material may lead to expulsion from the community.
● Do not upload, transmit or otherwise make available any files, code or other materials that contain viruses or that disrupt the site's underlying systems.
● The discussion of prices, salaries, benefits, fees, specific business transactions, or individual companies, and in particular do not defame, disparage, or criticize any person or company is prohibited.
● There must be no agreements on prices, salaries, benefits, fees, allocation of markets, or boycotting of any person or company.
● We are all responsible for keeping the group spam-free. Spam includes, but is not limited to, any promotional, commercial, or adult content, multiple instances of the same post, posts with links unrelated to the topic, and the transmission of malware, viruses, or anything that may disrupt service or harm others. A violation of these guidelines may result in a warning from the moderator, removal of your topic or post, or removal from the group. You are able to log in to our site using sign-in services such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Google. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign-up form.
If you sign up for the Meatless Monday Global mailing list to receive site updates, the weekly newsletter and updates on special events, you will be able to opt-out at any time.
Cookies and Other Information Stored on Your Computer
This site also uses a 3rd party cookie, Google Analytics (Opt out) to track aggregate visitation statistics.
Cookies are essentially tokens of information, such as preferences and passwords, which some web servers collect from you when you access them.
