When you think of Meatless Monday, what’s one word that comes to mind?: Sustainable transition.

Tell us about something going on in your country or city addressing meat reduction: We planned a picnic event in the neighborhood of Nørrebro and invited neighbors to discuss why eating more local veggies and less meat is more sustainable for the planet and for our future.

If you could give one piece of advice or an easy step people could take to reduce their meat consumption, what would it be?: 

Ask yourself important questions: Where does my meat come from? What has this animal eaten? Where was its food from? What impact does the production of this meat have on the environment? Answering these questions will help with reducing meat consumption. The next step is to plan a weekly food menu, implementing new meatless dishes (the more the better!) and share with others. Be creative - transform some of your favorite recipes and try new ones!

What’s your favorite plant-based dish?: 

I love pasta! There are so many delicious plant-based ways to enjoy it - with pesto, with mushrooms or with a beluga lentil bolognese:
